Belgium to France

We stopped to look at Spinnewyn Mill which became famous during the battle of 1793 when it served as look-out post and first-aid station. The soldiers fought here in the Battle of Hondschoote to save France from invasion by English and Austrian forces. The mill was rebuilt in the 1990s and the millstones still produce flour, but it is only used at local festivals.
